Act 1713

According to Act 1713 of 2003 requires state and local governments operating a website to incorporate a p3p policy, which was designed to protect state agencies who operate a web site and collect information from their viewers.

The Department of Community Correction (DCC) has taken the necessary steps in protecting its employees and web page viewers from identity theft and other forms of unknown information taken from viewers. The DCC is providing you the option of using a free download software package that will give you the option of opting in or out on every website that is visited that gathers information about the viewers.
