G. David Guntharp - DCC Director

Functions :

The Director of the DCC reports directly to the Board of Corrections and is the agency's chief executive administrative and fiscal officer and is responsible for the agency's philosophy, mission and operations.

The DCC operations (managed by a chief deputy and three deputy directors) include residential, probation and parole services. Aside from the deputies, the director supervises a small staff of professionals in such areas as legal affairs, internal affairs, employee drug testing, grievances, public relations and interstate compact.
